PV TECH is the area dedicated to companies manufacturing photovoltaic machinery and technologies (production and processing of polysilicon, ingots, wafers, cells and modules), part of ENERSOLAR+ ITALY.
According to the Solar Energy Report 2010, the report of the Energy and Strategy Group of the Milan Polytechnic which analyzes the solar technology market in Italy, the turnover of the sector is about EUR 9.7 billion, with 18,500 direct employees, which become 55,000 if we take into consideration third-party companies. In particular, production capacity has reached 225 MW for cells and 960 MW for modules.
PV TECH is also an important occasion of professional updating thanks to the conference sessions presented by speakers of the highest level.
